Eight weeks to D day (departure)

Titans have been training hard as winter has been creeping in. Night training includes paddling as the sun sets over the Brindabella hills to the west of Canberra towards the night lights of the surrounding city. We are privileged to see the city from this perspective.

Fashion is not thought about as we don thermals, ski hats and water proof overgear. Our coach calls us to focus and the hard work begins. We can only imagine the heat and humidity of Penang and dream of success.

Training off water is ongoing thanks to access to the Serani Health Club and Crowne Plaza, Canberra.

The Titans Mother's Day Raffle was a great success and we thank the donors of our prizes for their generosity: Crowne Plaza, Canberra, The Boathouse by the Lake, Pat Pye, Cheap Chips. Photo is of the artist, P Pye, and her work.
The Grandmasters women have committed to hard training for two more months so on we go together.
Paddles up, paddles on
Paddles deep, paddles long
Titans women are the best
Gold and victory is our quest!
Paddles up, paddles on
Titans women we are strong.
